Brown shot 44% from the field and averaged 20.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.6 steals per game throughout the Finals. In Game 3, he had a very impressive effort, scoring thirty points, grabbing eight rebounds, dishing out eight assists, and blocking one shot.

Tatum’s and this player’s performance made Celtics history as the second time two players each scored at least thirty points in a Finals game.

In addition, Brown made history in Game 1 by becoming the first player from the Celtics to finish with 20 points, three blocks, and three steals in a Finals game. This accomplishment demonstrated his ability to defend and his overall influence on the game.
